How can I make an axis of two-wheeled bicycle?
I want to make a wagon with bicycle wheels and the wheels have now. How do I make a shaft to go between the wheels? Is it something I can buy at the hardware store and if so you have different lengths? Is it simply screw these things in wheels and if so, I would worry it would unscrew and pull it out. If not, is there soldering involved? Ok, that's enough questions, suggestions that you can do would be greatly appreciated.
Go to the hardware store and buy the right size for axis wheels. At each end of the tree leaf in a flat washer. Next slide the wheels on each axle end. Now slip into another flat washer. Next a small hole on the outside of the washers flat and install a cotter pin. You should end with the pin, washer, wheel, washer and a pin. You wheel does not come free spins and the axis. Install the wheel hub that your car and your ready. Good Luck.
