Victoria Cycling Challenge

The Nanaimo 2 Victoria Cycling Challenge is Oak Bay Bicycles’ biggest sponsored charity ride of the year, and they are very excited to announce the Challenge is now open for registration!

In a nutshell, it’s a 120km ride from Nanaimo to Victoria (with a shorter, 20km option available too) to raise awareness and funds for cancer research through the Canadian Cancer Society. This year the ride is on Sunday, August 15th, 2010. It’s a great ride—amazing views and a full police escort—, and it’s a great cause to support, so we hope to see lots of you folks out there.

One more thing: the event is the brainchild of Karl (the OBB Kaiser) and friend to Oak Bay Bikes, Ian Craib, and they’d like to thank the large group of dedicated organizers and sponsors who have helped grow the event considerably from its inception 3 years ago.

So, register and get out and ride for a great cause!
