Tandem Bike
How can you ride a tandem bicycle tricycle?
I built a tandem bike with three wheels, and only the front runner can pedal. I tried to mount, and when I'm alone, changes in subsequent cycling around, beat me, pounces. Sounds like the third bike is free to move around the steering tube, which would make the bike almost impossible control. I'd say you'd be best off to make sure it is fixed. If it is, can only be that the bike is too heavy and too complicated to monitor effectively.
