Shifters SRAM road work with all Shimano Drivetrain? or I need a deriallieur rival or anything else? If anyone had details on this that much
The crank, derailleur, chain and cassette will be fine, but you to use a road front derailleur to match Sram levers. They have no Shifters Shimano-compatible road group, and from what I've heard they have no plans to introduce them (unlike components mtb). You can use the Force, rivals, or the networking components …. all exchanges. You can not use any of mtb rear derailleurs, however. The road components using a different configuration change. (And fwiw, Sram cassettes space is no different from Shimano, Campy, IRC, or any other market. I have traded two cassettes from SRAM and Shimano road and mountain bikes (cross them!) With zero problems. The freehubs / Streaks are different between Shimano / Campy, but the space between the teeth is the same …. will go down to the standard rear frame spacing / width changes hub, or when someone enters a chain of ownership … and God help us if it ever happens! LOL some tapes (such as Dura Ace) are designed to be used only freewheel body with a game, although the grooves are standard and correspond to, say, Ultegra and Deore LX center. But comparing 9-a 9-SPD SPD SPD or 10-to 10-SPD spacing is the same.) Hope this helps out …. and enjoy the new shifters, they're awesome! : O)
