How ball bearings that are in the free wheel hub on a 26 "mountain bike shimano?
There are loose ball bearings at the free wheel of a mountain bike. Does anyone know how many are there? I removed 2 mountain bikes for an electric bike. Now I'm putting together a new and have 2 games, but I lost a bit of each set and leaves me with no clue. These are maintained below the Shimano freehub nut … bearing are loose in there. Thank you!
OK this is simple. Ive removed a few Shimano hubs and have had 9 or 11 ball bearings in each side. easy to calculate how many "have a grease tray in hand-Lay in some fats in the area were the bearings go dip each ball in the fat and use tweezers to into place to only a certain amount will fit into the bearing-to the rear axle through when ur done and see if luck turns smoothly
