Mountain Bike, abbreviated or ATBs MTB (Mountain Biking) is a bike that are meant for riding on dirt roads or unpaved environments. That are more resistant that road bikes, and can handle more stress.

A soft tail Mountain bike has very least the suspension in the rear, and its framework is deflection in the rear, rather than the pivot. A full suspension MTB has a suspension fork on the front and rear suspension as well, with a link allows movement of the rear wheel on an axle.
Until recently, MTB had the same design and geometry road bikes. When mountain biking became more popular, became more aggressive rides and mountain bike frames new lighter and stronger were created to meet the needs rider and aggressive driving style.
The New mountain bikes age are 21, 24 or 27 speeds. They usually have 3 gears in the front. The rear has 7, 8 or 9 speed. They also have disc brakes.
