How do you adjust 2004 Marzocchi Bomber Junior T forks?
I have brought a 04 Kona Stinky Dee-Lux and have these forks on it. How I adjust the rebound and compression on them? There are only two buttons on the forks, located at the top of each fork leg and having a plus and a symbol them less. I'm not 100% sure what they do. You can also adjust the fork travel is constantly or 170mm? Cheers.
Hey Camelia, The Marzocchi Junior T is an awesome fork, but unfortunately the only external adjustments that gave the Marzocchi Junior T for 2004 is the external preload adjustment. The two buttons at the top of both fork tubes only preload adjusters. The internals of the Junior T are not adjustable SSV or the speed of finger-sensitive pump valve. Preload adjusters are to adjust the amount of SAG on the front forks. In his Stinky want the fork to slide down or sinking nearly 30% of total fork travel when you sit on the bike. Turning on the preload knobs clockwise or toward the + gives you more of preload and – gives you less. Rebound and compression are not adjustable, unless you change the holder of a petroleum oil viscosoty higher or lower. If you change the oil, check with Marzocchi fork for recommended oil weight. If you have problems with bottoming or have to use a large amount of preload can change the fonts of a rigid type of spring. You can also go to a softer spring rate, if you are a runner light. Finally, the Junior T travel is not adjustable. All long-travel DH FR forks are not adjustable. Hope this helps a little luck and good in your settings and set-up.
