Fsa Carbon

Is it worth upgrading a crank RaceFace RideXC a carbon crankset FSA?
I have a bike K2 Razorback 2005 a draft,
First, the FSA does interesting things but I will never buy any of that because I worked in a shop owned by one of the co-owners of the FSA. Nuff said. Second, carbon rods in a mountain bike, bad idea. Your cranks take pictures that never comes to mind and matter has a tendency to explode when fails instead of simply bending or cracking. Mayor Face reason not to get rid of race … A couple of my inner plate screws fell off (probably my fault for not checking) and as a result, my small ring broke into three pieces during an escalation ratty. I called Race Face cranks, knowing well that they were out of warranty and told them the same. I explained what happened and asked if he could fix me up at my expense. They said no, but sold me a new set of cranks and top of the line of freeride pedals for $ 55.00. The kicker is when I got to the BB, the box has a born on date. It was my birthday. I never get rid the box. Nobody will care for you and fellow career FACE !!!!!!
