Fork Disc
How do I know my fork and disc brakes are compatible?
I'll probably get a 2001 Marzocchi Monster T from a friend. If you buy the disc brakes, What does it matter what I buy? Or I can get the disks Hayes regular cable? (I intend to get those 2nd hand) Please help, thanks
It seems that this fork is a compatible disc. I've included a link to the manual for 2001 forks all the information they provide. I would highly suggest hydraulic instead of mechanical disc brakes. There is no real advantage for mechanical disc brakes on V. This is because the cable is still the limiting factor. I skip to at least one front hydraulic disc if I was going down that road. BTW also have a center that can accept the rotor. Standard Centers do not have this provision.
