Carbon Handlebar
Can I use the lock to become familiar with SL Monkeylite Easton carbon handlebars?
Barends Easton advised not to use this handle, but I use blocking grips?
ANYTHING Never clamp a carbon tube, no exceptions. The Monkeylight really is not for casual riding and have a limited life seriously. Both weight sausage, eh? Weight at the expense of cost and life … not a good balance in my opinion. If you are considering the possible exception of a bar CF clamping on a stalk, which is designed to allow that. If you are considering the possible exception of a security clamp binder, remember that there is a tube inside the tube that prevents it from easily crush.
