Need estimated price used Cannondale road bike?
Hand-me-down, older Cannondale road bike 600 ST, 3 speed, alum frame, good condition. Probably 10 years old. Anyone know what the average value may be?
The ST600 past, to my knowledge was available in 1992 so that the bike is at least 16 years of age. It is 3 speed, but 21 gears (3 at the front, 7 back) unless someone changed it. Thus, if it has indeed been changed to a speed of 3, consider the bike without value. Cannondale frames are not friendly when it comes to be reset, nor are aluminum frames anyone. If the bike has 21 gears and yet the frame is not cracked or dented in any place (which is common in CDAL old) and everything is in good working order, figure $ 100 maximum. You have a bike that has very old technology, almost obsolete and would take some pretty big money to upgrade (or even repair that if something is wrong). If it were me, I ask $ 125 and take just over $ 75. EDIT: Bikecrazy … on high speed 3-axis, most are closer than some 7-speed rear with the exception of the iMOTION 7 speeds and Rohloff. Also need to remember that the bike is at least 16 years of age and the fact that the system change would be all improvised. Since I had left vertical bike should have a chain tensioner, all these changes, which makes the bike even less desirable. If you have been upgraded with 3-speed is zero.
