A Woman’s Bike in Pink
When we hear of the word MOTORCYCLE, the first thing that comes to our mind is men and their big bikes. Nowadays, we see women left and right ride their bikes for one hell of a ride. It’s no longer weird to see women in bikes, why give all the fun to the men when we are as capable as them? It’s all about women empowerment these days and women and with their pink motorcycle helmet on is just one way of shouting “Girl Power!”
What’s with Pink that women love so much.
The color pink is a combination of the color Red and White. The quality of energy in pink show how much red and White is present. The color Red is power, hence the red power tie for business people and the red carpet for celebrities and VIP’s. White is purity, cleanliness, and innocence. White goes well with almost any color. So with these combinations we have the pink color that is effective in neutralizing disorder and violence. Even prisons use limited deep pink tones to diffuse aggressive behavior.
Different types of Helmets.
Full Face helmets- are the best choice for having the most protection and the best chance of walking away from an accident. If your still a beginner and is not sure on what helmet to get, the full face helmet is your best bet since it give the full protection a biker needs.
Three-Quarter shell helmet- This type of helmet covers most of the head, apart from the face, and are held in place by a chinstrap. They provide a quasi level of safety and security, just like to a full-face helmet but don’t wrap the face.
Half shell motorcycle helmets- are the least distracting style of motorcycle helmets, covering only the top half of the cranium. They weigh the least, do not block the ears, and offer the least wind resistance. They also give the least protection.
Tips when buying helmets.
- DOT Certification- Always look for helmets with DOT Stickers. Simply indicates that a manufacturer believes that its helmet meets the basic DOT standards.
- Coverage- Make sure your helmet fits to get all the protection you are paid for. A good fit means level on your head, touching all around, comfortably snug but not tight. The helmet should not move more than about an inch in any direction, and must not pull off with much effort.
- Color-Pick white or a bright color for visibility to be sure those motorists and other cyclists can see you.For women, Pink shouts “Woman driving!”
- Comfort- Coolness, ventilation, fit and sweat control are the most critical comfort needs. Air flow over the head determines coolness, and larger front vents gives better air flow. Sweat control can require a brow pad or separate sweatband. A snug fit with no pressure points gives comfort and correct position on the head when you crash.
Safety is the key in order to enjoy any form of hobby or transportation. Being responsible first is a must for one who enjoys motorcycle biking. For women, it’s now easier for them to be safe and be recognized at the same time.
Always remember that everyone needs protection when it comes to any form of transportation. Pink motorcycle helmets are meant for women safety and empowerment. If you’re a woman and loves motorcycles, the pink motorcycle is just what you needed.
Women bikers nowadays aren’t shy to wear their pink motorcycle helmet because safety comes first! Fashion comes next. Being fit is so accessible right now since the electric treadmill was invented. Losing weight is just easy as 1 2 3. No more expensive gym memberships! No more rainy runs int the park.
What should I do about spraying my second hand bike race (which is now blue with pink boxes) black?
It has the original colors of hard technology and if i spray that could diminish the value and character. Does anyone have an opinion. His horse through embarrassing street in a pink bike when I’m an uncle.
Strip everything out of it that you feel comfortable and removal of the tape to the rest. Just to use a can of Krylon gloss black or whatever and spray it right on the original painting. Use a technique called a tack coat. That is when initially just spray a very light coat and let stand 5-10 minutes (depending on humidity), and when it’s just a bit of bad taste after spraying to coat.You CL normal “surprised at how good it looks. I did it to one of my bikes and never know it was not the original painting.
