Bike Campagnolo

What is the diffrence between Shimano / SRAM (M10) and Campagnolo (ED10) to describe a road bike rim?
I am looking to buy a new rear tire after my last road bike was destroyed. However, I can not for the life of me an idea of what part of the general terminology which describes the media conference. What is Shimano / SRAM (M10) vs Campagnolo (ED10) describing?
M10 and ED10 are the names of centers, not edges. Shimano and SRAM using the concentrating system, M10. Campagnolo uses the ED10 center. Any cube works with the same type of tire. You ask the center who works with the manufacturer of the components of your cassette. HTH
