doo you need some type of grease for bearings and everything for a bike?
im trying to open as something a little bike shop, and I wondered if as any grease or lubricant for ball work the bike and the handlebars.? Need help?
To answer your question, here is a basic list of lubricants for motorcycles … 1) Drivetrain chains and external parts, brake levers, levers light machine oil (not motor oil) or appropriate silicone or paraffin-based lubricant as a function of driving situations, 2) Bearings (roller): if in the open (like the lid of a cable detangler) use of silicone oils or something that is easy to clean and replaced. If protected (such as schools), use white lithium grease. NEVER package filled areas fat … once clean, wipe a thin layer of lubricant on the cups and cones, then roll each with around your fingers to give a thin layer and install, 3) the NEVER try sealed bearings, a sealed lubrication relationship. Most have seals deteoriate when exposed to foreign lubricants or degreasers, 4) Cables-apply a thin layer of lithium grease on the exposed wires. Do not lubricate the inside of homes … most have a Teflon or Delrin sleeve to soften and get sticky if exposed to lubricant. The best option is to use stainless steel cables and forget about greasing the cables completely, 5) seatpost, handlebar to address mother-If the metal, use white lithium grease inside the seat tube before installing the seat post, or when the mother plant (or about) the address holder.
